Lyzzick Hall Hotel was a fantastic getaway for my partner and me! Our Standard King Room was spacious and beautifully designed, with fine views of the Cumbrian fells. The dining experience was really good. We particularly loved the four-course dinner that highlighted local ingredients and flavors, and the breakfast was equally good with a wide range of options.

Best place for couples looking for a getaway
The views were fine and the food, I mean the dinner was like. The best meal I've ever had. Sitting on the veranda for the firework display was just surreal, man.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you know what, for the quality? Completely acceptable.

Standard King Room offered a charming decor with fine views of the surrounding hills. Immaculate room that provided a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring.
The showers were out of order when we arrived, and despite waiting over an hour, we still couldn't get decent water pressure. Ended up opting for a slow trickle bath which was neither warm nor fulfilling after a day of hiking. It felt somewhat awkward being asked to move from sofas we had settled into for a glass of wine, anticipating a party that never showed. The overall dining experience didn't hit the mark for us either. The dinner was heavy and somewhat unbalanced with too many components competing on the plate.
